On Monday, April 7th, under a bright blue sky with cherry blossoms starting to fall, we held the entrance ceremony for the 2025 school year at the Kyushu Lutheran School, International Primary School Division. It was our second entrance ceremony since the school opened in April 2024.

The ceremony took place in the chapel of Luther Junior & Senior High School. It began with a beautiful pipe organ prelude by Mrs. Maiko Kato and followed a Christian worship style, led by Chaplain Hitoshi Adachi. Principal Kaoru Kozuma gave a welcoming speech.

We welcomed 18 new first-grade students and 5 transfer students. Our total number of students is now 62.

On the same day, we also held our opening ceremony.
Everyone greeted each other cheerfully and happily moved up to the next grade. Smiles were everywhere!

We’re excited to see our new first graders and transfer students enjoy school life, take on new challenges, and have lots of fun together.
