Admission Guidelines for the School
Year of 2024-2025

  1. Enrollment Capacity

    Students from first-grade to third-grade will be recruited.
    Twenty students will be accepted per grade level.

    Admission quotas will be established for foreign nationals in each grade, with a total of 10 foreign students being admitted across three grades.
    (The quota for foreign nations includes individuals with dual citizenship and excludes Japanese children returning to Japan.)
    If you are enrolled in a primary school overseas, the grade in which you will be enrolled will be discussed after your application is accepted.

    (4) Entrance examinations for overseas applicants will be conducted as needed.
  3. Eligibility Criteria for Application

    1. Applicants who show understanding of the ethics of Christian education at the school.
    2. Applicants who agree with and align with the educational content and objectives of the international school.
    3. The grades for which applicants may apply are as follows.
      1. First-grade students must have been born between April 2, 2017, and April 1, 2018.
      2. Second-grade students must have been born between April 2, 2016, and April 1, 2017, be enrolled in primary grade 1 at the time of application and wish to transfer to the second grade in April 2024.
      3. Third-grade students must have been born between April 2, 2015, and April 1, 2016, be enrolled in primary grade 2 at the time of application and wish to transfer to the third grade in April 2024.
      4. Fourth-grade students must have been born between April 2, 2014 and April 1, 2015,be enrolled in primary grade 3 at the time of application and wish to transfer to the fourth grade in April 2024.
      5. Fifth-grade students must have been born between April 2, 2013 and April 1, 2014,be enrolled in primary grade 4 at the time of application and wish to transfer to the fifth grade in April 2024.
      6. Sixth-grade students must have been born between April 2, 2012 and April 1, 2013, be enrolled in primary grade 5 at the time of application and wish to transfer to the sixth grade in April 2024.

      If you are enrolled in a primary school overseas, the grade in which you will be enrolled will be discussed after your application is accepted.

  4. Application Method

    Please apply via our internet application system (F-REGI) from our school’s website.

    Entrance examination fee: 10,000 yen 
    (Payment by credit card, Pay-easy or at a convenience store)

    Once paid, the entrance examination fee is non-refundable.
    The application system (F-REGI) can be accessed during the application period.

    1. The interviews will be conducted in both Japanese and English, but questions and answers directed towards Japanese parents will be in Japanese.
    2. First-year students will take a listening and oral test in English that corresponds to their age-appropriate level.
    3. For transfer students, an English proficiency test will be conducted, including a listening, oral, and academic ability test such as numerical comprehension text in English that corresponds to their age-appropriate level.
    4. If you live overseas, please inform us in advance.
  6. Notification of Acceptance

    • The result will be posted on the International School, Primary School Division’s website for a certain period of time from the date of the announcement.
    • We are unable to provide information regarding the result via phone inquiries or other means.
  7. Enrollment Procedures

    Notification of acceptance and the necessary documents for enrollment will be sent. Enrollment procedures will be posted on the International School’s website.

    Registration fee 300,000 yen
  8. Tuition and Fees

    (1) Tuition fee (annually) 950,000 yen
    (2) Educational enhancement fee (annually) 100,000 yen
    (3) Facility fee (annually) 100,000 yen
    (4) Other expenses (details will be announced on enrollment day for new students)
  9. Enrollment Day for new students

    • Details of enrollment day will be announced later.
    • During the enrollment day, information for enrollment and uniform ordering will be made available, and photographs will be taken individually.
