What level of English proficiency is required? Is it acceptable for parents not to speak English?
Specific qualifications in English proficiency tests are not required. However, a basic assessment of English proficiency will be conducted during the entrance examination. Additionally, an English proficiency support program for beginning students will be provided. English proficiency of parents is not a requirement.
Although it is referred to as an International School, are children with Japanese nationality eligible for enrollment?
Absolutely. The school embraces students from all backgrounds.
Is there an after-school program like an extended care for students?
We plan to offer optional English classes and Japanese subject study guidance classes. Students may also stay in the classroom after school to do homework.
What kind of involvement do parents have with the school?
There is no association such as committees or assigned roles like PTAs in public schools. However, we plan to establish Family Communities (FC) that will collaborate with the school to support an enriched school life
