Have you ever thought about what is the most important thing you want your child to learn? When teaching young children, it is crucial to thoughtfully consider our educational philosophy and goals. The skills children acquire now will shape their success in an ever-changing world.
At LIS, our mission is to nurture fulfilled global citizens who strive to create a peaceful world. Our teaching emphasizes inquiry and conceptual understanding and focuses on developing essential skills such as communication, research, critical thinking, social, and self-management skills. We believe that these are the skills that will benefit students throughout their lives.
We encourage our students to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who contribute to global society and lead fulfilling lives.

Throughout my teaching career I have empowered students with critical information literacy skills, developed students' love of reading, and supported multilingual students in improving their English proficiency. Having taught in the U.K, China, Russia, and Montenegro in the International Baccalaureate PYP and MYP programmes, I aim to use my experience of teaching diverse student cohorts to help foster an engaging, inquiry-based environment that holistically develops our students here at LIS to succeed in an ever-changing, globalized world.
